Yasufumi Shiroyama
Name: Yasufumi Shiroyama

Mr. Yasufumi Shiroyama is a partner of Anderson Mori & Tomotsune, a general practice law firm in Tokyo comprising over 420 lawyers and patent attorneys. He graduated from the University of Tokyo, Faculty of Law in 1992 and was admitted to the bar in 1994. He also studied an LLM at the UC Davis Law School. Mr. Shiroyama has focused on domestic and global dispute resolution of intellectual properties in various forms including patent, trademark, copyright and trade secrets as well as transactional aspects of IP such as license and assignment. In addition, Mr. Shiroyama taught intellectual property law etc., at the University of Tokyo, School of Law from 2004 to 2022, and worked as a chairperson of the JFBA Committee on Intellectual Property Rights in 2017.

Yoshifumi Onodera has been focusing on domestic and international dispute resolutions (infringement litigations, invalidity trials, and appellate litigations), arbitration, and licensing in relation to any kind of intellectual property rights, including patents, utilitiy models, designs, trademarks, copyrighted works and trade secrets for over 20 years since 2000 he addimitted to the Daini Tokyo Bar Association. With his background in the fields of chemistry and biology, he has handled matters that require a high degree of technical expertise in various fields of technology, e.g. pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, telecommunication, semiconductor, information devices, software, and game software. He handles a number of IP-related matters (administrative raid actions, opposition procedures, litigation procedures in relations to counterfeit goods and trademark squatting) involving not only Japan, Europe, and the U.S. but also China and other Asian countries).
He has been serving as a member of the JFBA (Japanese Federation of Bar Asscications) Committee on Intellectual Property Right and one of officer of the Intellectual Propoerty and Entertainment Law Committee at IBA (International Bar Association) since 2014.
